History of Art Fair:
Rockbrook Village is proudly hosting the 52nd Rockbrook Village Art Fair. This art fair was founded in 1971 and is now one of the premiere art fairs in Omaha, Nebraska. As a juried show our artists are some of the best in the US.
In 1971 Gloria Matthews organized the first Rockbrook Village Art Fair with only 15 artists. She was able to grow the event into one of the top art fairs in Nebraska. At the time of her death in 1991 it was an established annual event, hosting over 100 artists from across the country.
Juanita “Charlie” Galvan took over operation of the Rockbrook Village Art Fair from 1991 to 2020. She continued to find talented artists from all over the country to participate in the show. Under her leadership the show grew to its current size of 120 artists with over 40,000 people attending the show.
We are excited to continue the tradition of showcasing amazing art from around the country and look forward to seeing everyone in September.
