Prescott Park Arts Festival

In 2006 the Prescott Park Arts Festival is celebrating its 32nd anniversary of presenting music, art, theater and dance on the banks of the Piscataqua River.

The mission of the Prescott Park Arts Festival is to provide a financially accessible, quality multi-arts festival to a diverse audience. Implicit in this charge is the exercise of cultural leadership, sensitivity to the community and fiscal responsibility.

Located on 3.5 acres in downtown Portsmouth, the arts festival has a long and rich history of successfully presenting the arts with no fixed admission. (Although we do request a $5 per person donation to help defray the costs of bringing you this great entertainment!) Because of this policy, many people have their first experience with a live performance at Prescott Park.

None of this is possible without YOUR donations, membership signup, and our Advertisers, Sponsors and Benefactors.

The arts festival has entertained more than 3 million people in more than 9,000 productions. Variety is truly the spice of life at the arts festival where classical ballet is presented right alongside rock n' roll.
