The Taste of Vail, in its 34th year, is a non-profit organization founded in 1990 by a group of food and wine enthusiasts. We support the amazing chefs and wineries of our valley and from all over the world. Moving forward we want to work closely with innovative chefs, vintners, brewers, and distillers who are excited to share their unique perspectives.

An Unforgettable Culinary Experience on Top of Vail Mountain

Join us for the pinnacle of outdoor tastings at Taste of Vail, where you’ll indulge in culinary masterpieces paired with wines from over 48 prestigious wineries from around the world. Set at a breathtaking 10,350 feet above sea level, with the majestic views of Holy Cross as your backdrop, this is a truly unparalleled gastronomic experience. Whether snow or shine, savor gourmet dishes crafted by top chefs while enjoying a selection of the finest wines, beers, and spirits in the crisp mountain air.

If you have a ski pass, please use it for mountain access. Foot passes will be provided for those without ski passes..

Description: Join Maison Ruinart’s winemaker for an intimate tasting exploring “The Art of Chardonnay.” Discover how Chardonnay defines the house’s signature style through three distinctive expressions: the iconic Blanc de Blancs, the bold innovation of Blanc Singulier, and the elegant complexity of Dom Ruinart. Root & Flower will pair small bites with each taste, including delicacies like oysters & caviar.

3 - 4pm MDT. Doors at 2:45pm - Pinea & Hall: A Comparative Tasting of Fine Wines : Gems of the World

Join us for an extraordinary tasting experience featuring Pinea and Hall Wines, two iconic producers renowned for their commitment to excellence. This seminar will showcase the craftsmanship, terroir, and philosophy behind each brand, providing a side-by-side comparison of their most celebrated wines. There will be a discussion on terroir, viticulture, and winemaking techniques that shape their wines. Join them to hear how nsights into how Napa Valley (Hall) and Ribera del Duero (Pinea) create distinct expressions of fine wine. A seminar to remember.
