48 Hour Film Projects are a worldwide filmmaking challenge where Teams undertake the entire process of writing, filming, editing, and screening a short film within a 48-hour timeframe. At the commencement of the competition, participants receive a genre, character, line of dialogue, and a prop, which they must incorporate into their film. It challenges participants to be creative, work under tight deadlines, and showcase their filmmaking skills.

The State 48 Hour Film Project is open to Arizona residents. The Flagstaff International Film Festival is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming event for all aspiring and professional filmmakers to come together and celebrate their passion for filmmaking.
