For more than 100 years, the Park County Fair has been the premiere annual event to celebrate Wyoming’s farming and agricultural roots. The fair features the culture and heritage of Park County and has been a yearly institution of Powell, Wyoming for decades. The Park County Fair is a celebration of Park County and highlights our agricultural way of life, heritage, livestock, youth, artists, food, fun and more. The annual fair takes place the last full week of July and is fun for the entire family.

Schedule of Events:

6:30 AM: 4-H Breakfast
7:30 AM: Poultry Showmanship, Youth & Open Poultry Show
8 AM: Youth Market Beef Show, 4-H Beef Showmanship, Youth Rabbit Showmanship, Peewee Rabbit Showmanship
10 AM: Youth & Open Wool Show
Box Office Opens
11 AM: Exhibit Hall Opens
Vendors Open
12 PM: Livestock Barns Open to Public
Free Stage Acts Begin
Carnival Opens
1 PM: Gate Admission Fee Begins
1:30 PM: 4-H Sheep Showmanship, Best Fitted Sheep, Youth & Open Feeder Lambs, Pen of 3, and Orphan Lambs (Show Ring)
4 PM: Beer Gardens Open
5 PM: FFA Swine Showmanship, Youth Market Swine Show (Sale Barn)
7 PM: Grandstand Event
Gates open at 6 PM
8 PM: Box Office Closes
10:30 PM: Exhibit Hall Closes
Livestock Barns Close
11 PM: Beer Garden Closes
