Tickets are $50.

About David Kirkland Garner: Dr. David Garner is on the faculty at the School of Music at the University of South Carolina, where he has worked with world-renowned ensembles including the Kronos Quartet, which commissioned work based on the music of the Scottish diaspora.

He recently composed Eight Songs for Steffen Thomas to accompany Jesse Freeman’s documentary film “Steffen Thomas: Rock & Chisel” which premiered on Georgia PBS in February 2023. The Schumann-inspired song cycle for cello, piano and 2 vocalists will be especially meaningful presented in the museum dedicated to the well-known Georgia artist Steffan Thomas.
