The 39th Annual Kolache Festival is
open for everyone to attend at no cost.

School and traveling to the Kraitchar
House Museum. Also, a free shuttle will
be provided from the Kraitchar House
to the Classic Car Show & Antique

Hejl Park in Davidson Creek.

Kroje Folk Costume Parade

BC Czech Heritage Museum

Ahoj, join us in a fresh approach to kick off the 39th Annual Kolache Festival
with a traditional kroje folk costume parade. The parade will start at 8:15 AM,
circling the square before heading to the pavilion for the opening ceremonies.
All ages are welcome to participate. The museum will be open 10 am - 2 pm.

Polka Pavilion on Fox Street
Join us under the pavilion at 9 am for our opening ceremonies, which will feature:
Kroje Folk Costume Parade
Opening prayer
Flag ceremony
National & “KDE DOMOVMUJ” (Czech national anthem)
Local dignitaries
Crowning of Miss Kolache Festival
The SPJST Youth Beseda Dancers will perform at 9:30 am, followed by The
Moravians & The Czechaholics at 11 am. The State Championship Kolache Bake
Show Ceremony & Awards will start at 3:30 pm.
State of Texas Kolache Bake Show
Caldwell Methodist Church

Registration will commence from 7:45 am
to 10 am, with judging starting at 10:30
am. The winners will be announced under
the pavilion at 3:30 pm. The bake show
has expanded to include five divisions
over the years. It is open to adult and
youth bakers, both nonprofessional and
professional, including champion bakers
Kraitchar House Museum
Kraitchar House is preserved by the
Burleson County Historical Society
203 E Buck Caldwell
Come join us from 9 AM to 2 PM to
discover the history of the Kraitchar
House and its inhabitants. Witness
exciting demonstrations including bobbin
lace, blacksmith, spinner and weavers,
butter making, corn shucking and
grinding.
Kolache Bake Shoppe
This year, beginning at 9 AM under the 100-foot
white tent on Main Street, we are delighted to
present an array of bakeries offering the finest
Kolaches in town. For Kolache enthusiasts, be sure
to order early as they typically sell out by 2 pm each
year.

Catch the shuttle from the Kraitchar House Museum
over to the park for the fun filled car show. Entry
begins at 8 AM with awards at 1 pm followed
by the Grand Exit.

antique machinery and tractors on exhibit
Kolache Eating Contest

Eating Contest! Registration starts at
11 am. Winners will be crowned in
various categories: girls 12 & under,
boys 12 & under, women, men &
team. Don't miss out on this popular

Once all the bakeries have closed, delight
in Live Polka & Country Music performed
by the beloved local group Ed Kopecky &
the Fun Time Polka Band. Join us under the
white tent for some dancing fun
