Chinook Days is the celebration of the Spearfish world record of the fastest/greatest temperature change on January 22, 1943 caused by a Chinook Wind.

During the week-long event, there will be a winter celebrations that consist of a winter festival, mountain sports, craft beer, local food, music and arts.

Community Bonfire

Head on down to the Lookout Amphitheatre upper parking lot at 100 St. Joe Street on January 25th from 2 PM to 8 PM for a day packed with music, festivities, and a blazing community bonfire!

Chinook Beerfest

ChinookFest BeerFest will take place at 100 Saint Joe Street Spearfish, SD 57783, on January 25th, 2 PM to 5 PM. This is an opportunity to try amazing brews from around the Black Hills region and take part in this iconic community event!
