Aumsville's annual Corn Festival has been a community tradition since 1968 when the first group of locals hosted a corn feed. The following year, the Aumsville Corn Festival name was coined, and the event has been going strong ever since!
Each year, the Aumsville Corn Festival boasts free hot corn for event attendees, and bags of corn for purchase. Proceeds from the corn sales and sponsorships are distributed among the many wonderful service organizations that volunteer to help with the Corn Festival and other Aumsville events.
This year's Aumsville Corn Festival activities include:
- A parade to kick off the day
- Free hot corn
- Corn sales at Maude's
- Lots of awesome vendors
- Corn Festival Princesses
- Family games and a corn eating contest
- Lead-up events: Rollin to Corn Fest (Thursday), Music on Main and the Fire Department's Cruz In (Friday), and the Fire Department's pancake breakfast (Saturday morning).
