We invite you to join us at BYU's Marriott Center on July 3rd for a very special Patriotic Service, with guest speaker Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf, member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Craig Jessop, former Music Director for the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square, will conduct the music for the evening, featuring the American Festival Chorus & Orchestra. This event is free to the general public! No tickets are required, with seating first come, first served. There will also be a special music tribute to refugees in the European conflict at this year's event.

Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Born in Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia in 1940, Elder Uchtdorf’s family fled war-torn Eastern Europe, eventually settling in Frankfurt, Germany following World War II. In 1965, Elder Uchtdorf began working for Lufthansa German Airlines as a pilot, eventually becoming head of all cockpit crews, and finally Senior Vice President of Flight Operations and Lufthansa Chief Pilot.
