Celebrate with us at the Earth Day Festival presented by International Paper! You "herd" it here first! You will not want to miss our Park mascot, Bob the Buffalo, leading the way through our Earth Day celebrations from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20. Adults and kids alike will have opportunities to experience, explore, and learn different ways of going green in Memphis!
Explore Kick the festivities off with our Fun Run around Hyde Lake at 10 a.m. We'll also have a kid's zone with inflatables and lots of yard games. Get a preview of the 2024 Get Outside! Fitness program with free classes on the Visitor Center lawn. Plus, we'll have plenty of music and food trucks for you to enjoy throughout the Festival!

Learn Join us for "booth chats" throughout the day. We will have more than 25 organizations set up to discuss their approaches to sustainability. They are planning fun ways to share their mission and how they make the earth a better place. Each booth will have a five minute chat at the Event Stage, so check the schedule to make sure you don't miss anything!

-Goat Yoga with 901 Goats at 1 p.m., 2:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
-Kid's Zone with inflatables, yard games and the YMCA "Y on the Fly"
-Learning Stations + Booths with interactive opportunities, activities, & talks focused on sustainability
Earth Day Fun Run Start your morning off movin' and groovin' with Bob the Buffalo to kick off the Earth Day festivities! This untimed race will begin at 10 a.m. The 2.34 mile Baptist Health Care trail around Hyde Lake is a great warm-up to start your day of fun at Shelby Farms Park!
